Track 11: General Track - Visionäre und Interdisziplinäre Themen

This track invites contributions about topics in the area of information systems that are not covered by any of the other 10 tracks of WI2013. This will allow for new ideas to emerge within this conference. The goal of this track is to attract papers, presenting novel analysis ideas and novel applications of IS.

Topics

Examples of topics, which are relevant to this track and have not been covered by tracks 1 to 10, are:

• Visionary and cross-disciplinary issues

• Economics of IS and digital goods

• IT innovation models

• IS adoption

• Innovative IS architectures, e.g. cooperative IS

• Organizational computing

• Culture of IT use

• Cultural IS

• Legal issues in information technology

• Information technology management

• Growth through information technology

• Information technology readiness

• Social Networks and IS

The papers have to be submitted in English language and must follow the general formatting style of papers.

Remark: Before submitting any paper to this track, please make sure that no better-fitting track can be found. The current tracks are on: IT-based customization (Track 1), integrated systems in the industrial application area (Track 2), integrated systems in the service sector (Track 3), innovation in business models (Track 4), information and knowledge management (Track 5), business process and service management (Track 6), sustainability and security (Track 7), modeling and development methods (Track 8), integration and IS architectures (Track 9), as well as research methods and science theories (Track 10). If you are unsure about whether your paper is suitable for this track (Track 11) or one of the above-mentioned, please send an email to the program chairs of this track.
