This track invites research contributions in the areas of conceptual modeling of information systems and development methods of complex software systems. Conceptual modeling aims at analyzing and designing information systems jointly with the organizational action system. Therefore, conceptual modeling of information systems encompasses different perspectives such as the analysis of business processes, the static description of information structures (in the form of data or object models), the representation of relevant aspects of corporate strategy or architecture of information systems. Research on conceptual modelling and development methods aims to develop and evaluate modelling languages and modelling methods. Other research topics include among others: Creation of reference models for selected domains, design of generic architectural models and development of modelling tools. Conceptual models also form the basis for development methods that are used for the design, implementation and deployment of corporate information systems.
The program committee invites submission of original papers. Submissions must not be previously published elsewhere or be otherwise already subjectto review. It is expected that the submissions are based on sound methodical, theoretical, conceptual-analytical and, where appropriate, hermeneutic and/or behaviouristic approaches (e. g. case study-based research). Submissions may not have been submitted or be under consideration elsewhere and must constitute original work.
