On this site there are important information regarding paper submission to the research tracks of the WI2013. For additional hints please have a look at the document "Guidelines Review Process Summary".

General Information

The International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik (Business Information Systems) is the leading academic conference in the German speaking IS community and welcomes self-made and unpublished papers from researchers and practitioners written in German or English (for differing regulations please read the Call for Papers).Submissions must not exceed 15 pages (including bibliography) and have to contain an abstract of max. 150 words as well as three to five keywords.

Format

Please use the MS Word (2003, *.doc) template for your paper. In addition there are different submission formats:

  • First submission: pdf document

  • Re-submission of conditional accepts: pdf document

  • Final submission (printable version): doc document

Anonymization

First and revised submissions have to be anonymized, i.e. the document must not contain names, adresses, etc. on the first page or the meta data of the document. Of course the final printable submission has to contain all necessary information regarding the authors (see paper template). References need no anonymization.

Submission

A paper can only belong to one track and has to be submitted online via the WI2013 review system. All submitted and not desk rejected papers are subject to a double blind review process.

Publication

We publicate the accepted papers in a conference proceeding and via download. With a WI2013 paper submission the authors agree with the copyright regulations:

1) the conference organizers are allowed to publish your paper on the WI2013-website and in the conference proceedings and
2) that your accepted paper will be published in the AIS eLibrary

The inclusion of an accepted paper in the proceedings requires that at least one author has registered for the conference and has payed the conference fee.
